There may be a replacement for the aging Mazda 6
with the option of electric or hybrid propulsion, but it's coming from an odd place: China.
Plans for a new Mazda 6 that would replace the existing model debuted in 2012
use the new rear-wheel-drive architecture and six-cylinder engines underneath
the most recent CX-60 and CX-90 SUVs have repeatedly been shot down by Mazda management.
However, if a teaser image released by Mazda in China, which was spotted by @cars_secrets on Instagram
is any indication, plans for a new Mazda 6 sedan and Mazda 3 small sedan may still be in the works.
